As a Customer Support Manager in Lelystad, you'll play a key role in the successful implementation and launch of Arvato’s newest Tech location. You’ll lead, coach and support the Customer Support and Transport team while building strong relationships with the customer and driving continuous improvements across the operation.

YOUR ROLE

As a Customer Support Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the Customer Support and Transport operation while ensuring strong collaboration between your team, our customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Ensuring the availability of staff, both quantitatively and qualitatively;
  • Managing, coaching and supporting the supervisors in managing their teams;
  • Maintaining contacts with customers about bottlenecks and actions to be taken to solve them;
  • Serve as an escalation point for internal and external stakeholders, such as customer, operations, Account Management, carriers and others;
  • Finding opportunities for expanding the services offered to existing customers;
  • Work on improvements of processes for- and with your teams.

You’ll become the manager of the Customer Support and Transport team within our Tech division. Together with your team of Customer Support Officers and Traffic employees, you'll work closely with Warehouse Operations, Planning, and our newest international customer to ensure excellent service every day. Your expertise in building and motivating teams will be crucial. You'll primarily work during regular office hours. Depending on operational requirements, occasional flexibility may be needed.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused manager who enjoys building teams, improving processes and taking ownership in a fast-paced international logistics environment.

  • A completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics, Technical Administration or Business Administration;
  • Approximately 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within logistics, medical or production environments;
  • Experience in leading teams and participating in or leading projects;
  • Strong knowledge of order management processes, including inbound, outbound and transport;
  • A proactive mindset with the ability and willingness to identify and independently implement business improvements;
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management products and services;
  • Understanding of customer agreements and the service levels required to meet customer expectations;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and external partners.
