Ready to make an impact where logistics meets technology? As a Business Support Specialist in Lelystad, you'll play a key role at Arvato's newest Tech location. You'll help Operations get the most out of the Warehouse Management System, support colleagues as a key user, and contribute to process improvements within a highly automated logistics environment.

This role is about much more than system support. You'll act as the link between Operations, IT, and the business, translating operational needs into practical solutions. YOUR ROLE

As a Business Support Specialist, you are the key user for the Warehouse Management System and the link between Operations, IT, and the business. You ensure that the system supports the operation in the best possible way while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the key user and first point of contact for Warehouse Management System-related questions;
  • Supporting Operations with system-related issues and identifying opportunities for improvement;
  • Coordinating and testing system changes before implementation;
  • Translating operational needs into functional change requests for IT and other stakeholders;
  • Training and supporting end users on new system functionalities and processes;
  • Monitoring system performance and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency;
  • Participating in projects focused on process optimization, system enhancements, and continuous improvement.

You will work in an international, highly automated Tech logistics environment where collaboration, accuracy, and operational excellence are key.

You will start with a temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment.

To be eligible for this position, you must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

 

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Support Specialist who enjoys combining operations, systems, and continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree (HBO) or equivalent working and thinking level;
  • Experience as a Key User, Business Support Specialist, Process Specialist, Super User, Logistics Engineer, or in a similar role within logistics;
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or other operational systems;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Power BI is an advantage;
  • Good command of the English language;
  • A proactive mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to support and train end users;
  • A team player who enjoys working in an international and dynamic Tech environment.
