Job Description
As an Inbound Supervisor at Arvato, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all inbound shipments, supporting our commitment to exceeding customer expectations. You will effectively manage labor and equipment resources while prioritizing inbound shipments with precision and operational excellence.
YOUR TASKS
- Supervise and manage labor resources and equipment within the inbound operation.
- Ensure on-time completion of inbound activities while maintaining accuracy and quality to meet customer requirements.
- Partner with the Control Tower team to coordinate labor allocation and prioritize inbound shipments.
- Oversee direct ocean container inbounds, LTL shipments, and building-to-building transfers.
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of all inbound employees.
- Manage the receiving and transferring of materials.
- Hire, train, and develop new employees within the inbound department.
- Ensure all inbound procedures are accurate, up to date, and properly documented for the Control Tower and applicable customers.
- Lead performance management for employees using established KPI metrics.
- Maintain and update operational procedures and quality processes.
- Monitor and maintain adequate supplies and equipment for departmental needs.
- Adhere to customer-specific and vendor-specific receiving requirements.
- Update and maintain UKG and Excel-based metrics as they relate to WMS reporting.
- Monitor all receiving functions on the floor to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Verify completion of all end-of-shift receiving system tasks and ensure full floor close-out procedures are followed.
- Work schedule: B Shift: Wednesday - Friday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, and every other Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience or equivalent leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in an SAP and/or WMS environment.Experience with inventory research and problem-solving.
