YOUR TASKS
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing warehouse processes, layout, and material flow.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Evaluate, select, and implement intralogistics technologies (e.g., AGVs, AS/RS, conveyor systems, WMS enhancements).
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to digitize and automate warehouse workflows.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Monitor KPIs and operational data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sustainability standards in all project implementations.
- Lead change management efforts and training programs to support new systems and processes.
- Depending on the Project, you Manage a project team consisting of multiple workstream leads and support roles
- You analyze data across customers to identify improvements and implement these in close cooperation with the Operations
- Warehouse flow analysis to identify bottlenecks and waste
- Business Case creation and presentation
- Identify required reporting for Operations and ensure Implementation
- Monitor Continuous Improvements across multiple clients
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
- You will report to the Director Operations
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Logistics, (Technical) Business Administration or (Industrial) Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics, ideally within Engineering, Project Management or Operations
- Self-driven, with a measured persistence based on a hunger to succeed and grow with your team and the customer
- Effective communication skills
- Affinity to numbers
- Interpersonal intelligence: In addition to solid communication skills, it is also of importance to have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively inspire and lead the people you work with. From customers to stakeholders, you get others on board with your vision
- Ability to communicate in English language (written and oral)
