Ready to take the next step in your career as a Customer Support Manager within an international logistics environment? At our brand-new campus in Echt, you will lead the Customer Support team within our Consumer Product division and play a key role in the onboarding of new customers.

With most of the team already in place, your focus will be on further developing the team, strengthening processes and creating the structure needed for future growth. You will have plenty of room to take ownership, implement improvements and make a real impact from the very beginning.

You'll work in a dynamic supply chain environment with short communication lines, close collaboration and a hands-on mentality. YOUR TASKS

As a Customer Support Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the Customer Support operation while ensuring strong collaboration between your team, our customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure the quantitative and qualitative availability of staff within the Customer Support team;
  • Manage, coach and support the Supervisor in the day-to-day management and development of the team;
  • Maintain close contact with customers regarding operational bottlenecks and coordinate the actions required to resolve them;
  • Act as an escalation point for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, Operations, Account Management and carriers;
  • Identify opportunities to expand and further develop the services offered to existing customers;
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying, developing and implementing process improvements together with your team;
  • Monitor order management processes across inbound, outbound and transport activities;
  • Ensure agreed service levels are understood, monitored and achieved.

 

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused manager who enjoys building teams, improving processes and taking ownership in a fast-paced international logistics environment.

  • A completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics, Technical Administration or Business Administration;
  • Approximately 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within logistics, medical or production environments;
  • Experience in leading teams and participating in or leading projects;
  • Strong knowledge of order management processes, including inbound, outbound and transport;
  • A proactive mindset with the ability and willingness to identify and independently implement business improvements;
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management products and services;
  • Understanding of customer agreements and the service levels required to meet customer expectations;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and external partners.
