Carbel, part of Arvato, is a full-service 3PL provider serving national and international clients across various industries, with a strong focus on fashion and retail. The Operations Manager provides leadership and supervision to an operations team working for the same value stream to create a world-class operations team. This includes, but is not limited to, managing inbound, pick/ pack operations, outbound shipments, and maintaining inventory. The Operations Manager also ensures that departmental and support personnel are focused on continuous improvement and supports a lean culture of inventory, people, and processes.

YOUR TASKS

  • Monitor and adjust processes to meet production schedules, due dates, priorities, shipping requirements, and handle peak volumes. Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality, while ensuring compliance with production, quality, reliability, and safety standards.

  • Provide support and training on company policies to employees. Monitor time and attendance records of direct reports. Develop employees through performance reviews, ongoing training, and by managing the hiring process, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and performance counseling.

  • Execute all business review preparation, responsible for all action logs and items resulting from business reviews.

  • Serve as key communication link between operations and all customers.

  • Create or use existing metrics to verify operation is under control.

  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines.

  • Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Must possess the ability to function in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
  • Experience developing, motivating, and leading cross functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service and operation experience
  • Proven leadership capabilities with ability to interact easily with individuals at all levels and functions, both within and outside the organization
  • Proactive in driving improvement processes.
  • 1-3 yrs experience with SAP
