Product Communications Manager / Technical Communications Manager (f/m/d)

Your role


We are currently building out a central European marketing team that is disrupting the status quo — just like we strive to do in every other department — by reinventing how B2B marketing is done in the video adtech industry. We are looking for an experienced, adtech-savvy product communications and education manager to join our growing team, and help us to keep our internal teams and external product users informed on key product developments.

As the Product Communications Manager / Technical Communications Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for working cross functionally with our product team, product education team, and marketing team to ensure that users and internal workforce have the most relevant and up-to-date information on product developments.



  • Support the Marketing & Product Education department in any product communication related activities
  • Own the communication of product updates, new releases, and roadmap to ensure an elaborate and timely product knowledge transfer with users, partners, and internal employees
  • Serve as a bridge between the Marketing & Product Education department and the Product team (i.e., business product owners) to ensure that we get the information needed to update our users and workforce on product developments
  • Challenge and influence the direction of our product communication processes and efforts, bringing new ideas, inspiration, and creative thinking to the table — and come up with new and unique ways to educate our employees, users, and the market on our tech products
  • Work with department to identify more elaborate product trainings or marketing campaigns needed for specific product releases   
  • Ensure close alignment on Corporate Identity and Brand voice and tone style guidelines across managed channels
  • Review & edit all internal and external facing collateral written by the Product Education team, such as user guides, factsheets, one-pagers, intranet publications, et cetera  
  • Collaborate with freelance support on product marketing/communications efforts when needed
  • Follow and analyse market trends to know what competitors are doing and help improve product communications 
  • Track and report on performance of product communication initiatives



  • Native English speaker (British English preferred but not required) 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in Marketing, Communications, Product Training, or similar field or area of study
  • Must be tech savvy and interested in technology topics (e.g., inspired by technology developments, enjoys working with tech teams, has a knack for taking super complicated technical content and making it understandable) 
  • Good time management and excellent communication skills
  • Advanced project management skills and the ability to cope with agile product development and projects
  • Continuously monitors and develops expertise to stay abreast the latest tools, tactics, and methods 
  • Self-starter, solution-oriented, and a team player — who shows clear organisational commitment 

Major Advantages 

  • Experience working in the (online) media business, ideally in the online/adtech media industry with a focus on product marketing, communication, or product training
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Wordpress, HubSpot, Learning Management systems, excel, Jira, Asana 
  • Experience with technical advertising booking platforms
  • Based in Hamburg, Berlin, or Gütersloh

Our headquarters are in Hamburg but we also have physical offices in Berlin, Cologne, Gütersloh, Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Milan, and Rome. While it is preferred that you are based in Hamburg or Gütersloh or in a city where we currently have an office, we are also open to remote work from anywhere in Germany, Nordics, Italy, or the Netherlands.
