Senior UX / Digital Product Designer (f/m/d)

Location: Hamburg, Berlin, Gütersloh or remote!

You will be an essential part of our core design team and work in an agile and self-organized environment with a high level of quality awareness.

You are confident in mapping and optimizing end-to-end journeys through a complex ecosystem of products and in focussing on user needs as well as on usability.

You value user research and have a tool kit of research methods and techniques to uncover insights and test your design concepts.

And last but not least you are not easily frightened by a high level of stakeholder interaction and have clear communication skills on board (English and German).

Task and resposibilities:

• Working with an interdisciplinary team of designers, developers and product owners to ensure on-time delivery of high quality products

• Understand and sometimes challenge business requirements to represent user needs in alignment with product and market strategy

• Engage product owners/stakeholders in design solutions that fit their needs

• Communicate design specifications with other designers and developers

• Present different phases of interface design development, concepts and ideas to business owners, team members and stakeholders

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong UX skills are a must - including analyzing of status quo, UX research, creating IAs, wireframes, user-flows and prototypes

• Must have web experience, ideally some experience with domain specific tools or dashboards

• Experienced in and enthusiastic about user research, requirement evaluation and Q&A to ensure a high level of quality in the implementation

• Ability to pay attention to the entire product ecosystem, not just at a feature level

• Ability to translate complex requirements into robust prototypes and flows, and to transform complex challenges into easy to understand patterns

• Confident working in Figma - Confluence, Jira, Storybook and AntD are a plus

• Comfortable working and contributing to design systems

• Organized, self-motivated and comfortable working independently 

• Visualizing and prototyping concepts to varying levels of fidelity to demonstrate and validate ideas

• Experienced working in an agile process

• Business fluent German and English language skills
