We are seeking a Senior-level Software Engineer to participate in developing browser-based front-ends in .Net) for homegrown application suite focusing on digital document delivery services.  Will be working heavily in C# ASP.Net for various projects with much potential for system design and development in several technical arenas.  Our team of Oracle PL/SQL developers creates the business rules in Oracle so our .Net developers focus on GUI design and coding with a focus on JavaScript.  The end results are web applications that look professional and are responsive and easy to change with new features because the business rules are in PL/SQL; a clear separation of business and presentation logic.

While the job revolves around web development, the data and business logic all reside in Oracle so it is important that you understand data base concepts and feel comfortable querying data and can “get around” in an Oracle data base.  SQL experience other than Oracle may suffice as learning Oracle would be a feasible learning step, but it is important that you are very familiar with RDBMS concepts.

General Duties:

  • Architect and build professional-grade web front-end applications for our internal and external clients using C# in ASP.Net.
  • Take on role of technical project team lead on key web applications.
  • Drive all technical aspects of web application development and deployment.
  • Provide support and assistance to our development team and our business teams.

  • Significant experience in hand-coding HTML (5), CSS and jQuery in a professional work environment.

  • Solid understanding of Web and server infrastructure so you can diagnose problems related to Microsoft Iis and Windows Server configuration.
  • Ability to find technical solutions to difficult challenges through R&D.
  • Good organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player: must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to juggle several tasks at the same time.
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design.
  • Experience with the Agile development process; able to work effectively with a high level of freedom.
  • In-depth knowledge of common web authentication and security concepts and their implementations (e.g. OAuth 2.0 authentication).

  • BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience developing web front-end applications
  • Candidates will be tested for technical ability
