1st Line Support within HR and Payroll

We have a fantastic opportunity to work in our shared services in Swansea who have won many awards!


We are now looking for a 1st Line Support within HR and Payroll to provide support to the end users


The 1st Line Support within HR and Payroll role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a busy ICT environment where delivery of quality solutions and customer service is at the forefront of our business.




  • Respond to support tickets escalated from ICT and functional area help desks.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of up to date call and problem records in the appropriate service management system.


We are looking for someone who has


  • Experience working within the HR arena and in particular within Payroll using SAP systems
  • Needs to provide 1st level service and support to our customer base.
  • Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to work independently and across other functional areas to find solutions and deliver results.
  • Must have experience in the communication of problem status or resolution to the end user/customer help desks as required
  • Support bespoke configuration developments as well as ensure documentation is maintained in the appropriate repository


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:


  • Experience in Human Resource, and/or Payroll applications
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent judgment, organisation, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively and provide advisory services
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • You will need to be based in the United Kingdom to apply for this role
