We are offering an exciting opportunity to join Arvato as an Apprentice, to build a career in an international business with a client base of the world’s most respected brands.

 

We design, deliver and differentiate customer service, finance and logistics solutions for brands like Microsoft, BMW and Renault and we want you to join us.

 

As an apprentice in this function you will provide excellent customer service to all customers, both externally and internally through face-to-face contact, telephone or written communication. You will develop your skills of providing  accurate information, advice and services to customers on a range of issues, and demonstrate commitment to securing the best service and outcomes for customers in the most efficient and effective manner.

 

This scheme will offer the opportunity to develop skills in responding to enquiries (telephone, emails and written communications) from customers regarding issues dealt with by the service. You will make appointments for customers if required and will gain experience in following through service commitments and resolve complaints, maintain close liaison with all sections to ensure working practises are met.

 

 You will operate a variety of systems and packages, awareness of how to structure accurate data and ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with agreed Arvato Policies and procedure, particularly the Code of Conduct, IT/Cyber Security and Health & Safety policies.

 

 

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of a positive approach to ensure quality customer care is achieved and is able to work in a busy office environment and work to tight deadlines. You must be able to use initiative and work without close supervision to solve routine problems and be able to able to work enthusiastically and be keen to make a positive and effective contribution to the team. The successful apprentice will be enthusiastic, reliable and be able to exhibit excellent communication skills.

Our Apprenticeship Scheme

The Customer Service Scheme is aimed at young people who want to achieve a nationally recognised qualification while gaining valuable work experience. 

 

After your first week of induction you will be placed in a department where you will work with a team of people who have the responsibility to train you in a wide range of fundamental business skills.

 

You will have an allocated Assessor who will meet with you every eight weeks to support you with your Diploma and guide you through the evidence that you will be required to collect for your personal e-portfolio. For people that require assistance with either their Maths or English, Slough Borough Council’s Community Learning and Skills Team run classes on site once a week to support you with Numeracy and Literacy Skills. In addition, there are a wide range of corporate training courses for you to attend and learn valuable skills to put into practice in a working environment.

 

 

Entry Criteria:

·         Must have completed full time education

·         Must be between the ages of 16 to 18 years old at commencement of Apprenticeship Scheme in January/February 2018

·         Demonstrable commitment to personal and professional development
