Position Summary:

The Sr. Developer has proficient knowledge of multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and develop the total technical design for an entire application to be run in production.

The Sr. Developer has the ability to lay out requirements for the project team. Ability to guide and direct

work on multiple projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to

be put into production. Thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation. The Sr. Developer has the ability to present at the various architecture review boards.

Display strategic view of applications and how they fit into the whole retail space.


Overall Responsibilities:


  • Planning, design, development, testing and release of custom objects
  • Develop technical architecture, strategy and guidelines documents
  • Actively Participate in MM, WM, SD solution design
  • Provide Development Effort Estimates
  • Technical Specification Document and Development Delivery Tracking
  • Coding complex developments
  • Test Problem Report (TPR) Resolution and Tracking


Primary Responsibilities:

  • 25 % - Design & Development
  • 25 % - Perform the majority of the testing for upcoming developments and troubleshooting problems. 
  • 50 % - 1st / 2nd  Level support - Ability to work with the CSU (Central Super User team) in troubleshooting the plant and Corporate support issues.




Key Qualifications:

  • Techno-Functional skills in MM,WM, SD (at least 6 full life cycles) and 4+ years of SAP experience
  • 4+ years of experience in the development or support for SAP applications is required.  Proficient in ABAP, hands on experience in MM, WM and SD
  • Deep understanding of integrated WM with HU management, RF scanning, batch management, serialization
  • Expert Experience with RFC's, IDOC processing and Handling.
  • Extensive experience of Enhancements - Implicit and Explicit, UserExits, and BADI's.
  • Expert ability to develop solution using Object Oriented ABAP Methodology, Webdynpro, Interactive Report and Dialog Programming, ALV List and Grid Reports, Screen & Menu Painter.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, system design documentation, and writing functional specifications.
  • Work independently in an international environment
  • Track record of excellence in end-to-end system design / support SAP projects
  • Off_hour Support (i.e. on_call)
  • Collaboration / team player  Follow up / results orientation
  • Should be able to communicate solutions effectively with technical and business associates. 
  • Work in the Louisville office 5 days a week.
