The Information Technology Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and ensuring the stable operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. The Information Technology Manager will also be responsible for interacting with the management team to assure technology solutions are properly discussed, planned and integrated into all future growth opportunities and projects.

In addition the Information Technology Manager should have hands on technical background and experience with troubleshooting server, network and storage issues, within multiple Windows Server environments. This position also requires system administration knowledge and candidate must remain current with technology.



  • Under general supervision of the Director Global IT Service Delivery Management  (based in Germany) this position will have the following responsibilities:
  • Design, specify, configure, install, deploy and maintain local area network hardware, software and telecommunication services such as personal computers, system software, software applications, printers, servers, routers, bridges, switches, cabling and internet service providers.
  • Develop and implement administer policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security and backup. Coordinates third-party maintenance for network hardware, software and server services. Prepares and maintains documentation of IT infrastructure layouts.
  • Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories and structure, rights, network printing and security.
  • Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.
  • Develops and communicate standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers and data.
  • Communicates with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware and operational problems. Communicate with suppliers regarding bugs, and follow-up to make sure fixes are received and tested.
  • Consult with department managers to develop system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Research and evaluate new technology and share information with Senior Management on an as needed basis.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures.
  • Ensuring and shaping of global standards for IT infrastructure.
  • Creation and administration of documentation and processes.
  • Other duties as assigned



This is a high demanding (seasonal) manufacturing environment that may require supporting IT Team with performing the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time.  The work environment requires a service oriented condition where you are actively looking for ways to help internal/external customers.



Knowledge, Education and Experience

Education/Experience -- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in computer technology or related field. Master Degree in computer technology a plus. Minimum 7+years relevant industry experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role setting up, managing and deploying server, network and desktop infrastructure.

General Skills -- Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to maintain computer/IT records and possibly drive company and/or personal vehicle while on company time.  ITIL certified, IT Security, Lean IT, ITSM.  Knowledge of MS Server / Clients OS and MS Office.  Very good knowledge in conception and operating of Network Infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN) Knowledge of Business Process Models, especially Logistics / Supply Chain Management
