Position Summary:

The HR Coordinator will provide outstanding internal customer service to Arvato and agency employees by answering employee questions about benefits, attendance, payroll, etc. HR Coordinator will perform general HR administrative tasks for the local site while working on project teams and projects across the North American SCM business.


Overall Responsibilities:

  • Serve as general HR point of contact to assist in answering day to day employee questions
  • Assist Payroll team with payroll processing and employee inquiries.
  • Enter Confidential Personnel data into HRIS systems (UltiPro and Kronos)
  • Assist with HR reporting
  • File and organize confidential employee documents as required
  • Support weekly New Hire Orientation by preparing employee paperwork, data entry of employee information, administering facility badges, and other on-boarding tasks
  • Assist with hourly/non-exempt recruiting
  • Assist with coordination of workers compensation administration, leaves of absence, AAP/EEO administration
  • Tracks and schedules mandated employee training
  • Coordinate employee activities that promote employee engagement
  • Participate on NA and local project teams
  • Handle administrative tasks when internal and customer meetings are scheduled and executives visit the facility
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • 1-2 years of Human Resource experience
  • Previous experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred

  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Organizational and planning skills, including ability to: prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and enforce deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize goals
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
  • Computer system proficiency in MS Suite of products
  • Experience handling confidential material professionally
  • This HR department supports a fulfillment center that is open 7 days per week. Occasional requests to work different hours may be requested to assist with other shifts. Working hours could exceed 40 hrs per week at times and require flexibility; notice will be provided if this is required.
