Job Description


We are looking for an Operations Lead - Debt Collection 
(permanent, full-time) Join our team at our location in Turku – flexible working conditions available

Do you combine strategic height with a hands-on mindset, and enjoy leading people, performance and continuous improvement in a regulated environment? As Operations Lead - Debt Collection Finland, you will play a key role in ensuring strong customer service and delivery in line with Riverty’s business strategy by optimizing quality and processes.

You will work in close cooperation with the Operations Lead Sweden/Finland to secure the optimal running of our day-to-day debt collection business, while representing the function in our operational management team and cross-country initiatives.


What you’ll do

  • Set direction & translate strategy into execution: define clear, achievable goals for the team and steer priorities that support our strategy.
  • Lead and develop the team: supervise day-to-day operations (task assignment, coaching, performance management) and create engagement, drive and efficiency.
  • Secure compliant, risk-aware operations: ensure daily business is run in line with internal regulations (legal) and internal policies and guidelines, with strong focus on risk factors.
  • Run performance through KPIs and data: evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting operational metrics; identify challenges early and resolve issues arising in daily operations.
  • Improve quality, customer satisfaction and efficiency: evaluate business procedures, implement best practices and strengthen quality control, together with Operations Lead Sweden/Finland and operational excellence stakeholders.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and clients: build strong relationships across Sales, Product and other management functions; meet key clients/prospects and support sales from an operational perspective.
  • Support profitable operations: review financial information and adjust operational processes to promote profitability in line with goals and budgets.

 


Qualifications


What you bring

  • Experience: minimum 3 years in the industry (debt collection / similar operational environment).
  • Education: University / University of Applied Sciences (AMK) degree in business (or equivalent).
  • Languages: fluent Finnish & English.
  • Leadership capability: confident acting as a supervisor with the ability to engage, retain and develop team members, including identifying training needs together with HR.
  • Operational and stakeholder strength: comfortable working across teams and functions in versatile situations, including international collaboration.
