We are looking for a
Data Protection Expert (m/f/d)
(unlimited, full-time) Join our team at our location in Helsinki or Turku – flexible working conditions available
Your Responsibilities
- You are the point of contact for business departments and management, providing advice on data protection matters and related topics.
- As part of our international and diverse team, you manage the data protection management system and take a broader view as part of our integrated management system (e.g. information security and compliance).
- You work in project teams on exciting topics such as Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, ensuring that processes and services are designed in compliance with data protection requirements.
- You develop data protection policies and concepts, conduct data protection audits, and derive appropriate organizational and technical measures from the findings.
- You monitor legal developments in data protection as well as customer requirements and derive appropriate measures.
- You design and deliver data protection training sessions.
Qualifications
Your Profile
- You have a completed university degree with a focus on business/economics or law, ideally with a legal qualification.
- You have specialist expertise in data protection and already have two to three years of professional experience.
- You have a strong ability to analyze data protection requirements and develop targeted solutions for both operational activities and projects.
- You demonstrate an independent and proactive way of working, combined with a strong service and solution-oriented mindset.
- You have strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, assertiveness, and excellent negotiation skills.
- You enjoy working in an international environment and communicate confidently in Finnish and English.
- Knowledge of Swedish would be an additional advantage.
