Facility Management Lead

(unlimited, full-time) Join our team at our location in Varberg, Stockholm or Uppsala – flexible working conditions available

 

We are currently seeking a forward-thinking Facility Management Lead to ensure our environment matches our ambitions. Occasional travel may be necessary since you will have the responsibility of overseeing both our Swedish and Finnish locations, ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will manage a team of colleagues in Sweden who will report directly to you, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Maintenance Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement a cutting-edge maintenance plan for our facility. Coordinate routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance for advanced building systems and state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management: Identify, contract, and manage top-tier external vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and specialized services. Negotiate contracts to secure optimal service levels and innovation-driven solutions.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and oversee budgets for facility operations, maintenance, and capital improvements. Utilize fintech tools to monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
  • Space Optimization: Leverage data-driven insights to optimize space usage within our facility, ensuring an innovative layout and high functionality. Coordinate agile office moves, modern renovations, and strategic space allocation changes.
  • Safety and Compliance: Implement robust safety policies, cutting-edge procedures, and advanced training programs for occupants and staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry-leading standards.

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in facility management, preferably within a fintech or tech-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of proactive maintenance planning, vendor management and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
