We are looking for a
(Senior) Sales Manager (m/f/d)
(unlimited, full-time) Join our team in Copenhagen – flexible working conditions available
You will drive growth in our collections and debt purchase business in Denmark, with a focus on key industries such as Telco, Banking/Finance, Mobility, Insurance, Media and Security.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Sales Initiatives
- Drive high-value sales cycles within the debt purchase and collections space, focusing on large enterprises and financial institutions in Denmark.
- Position our solutions specifically for Telco, Banking/Finance, Mobility, Insurance, Media and Security clients and translate their business challenges into tailored receivables strategies.
- Own the Revenue Journey
- Take full ownership of the sales process—from pipeline generation and stakeholder engagement to complex contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Build a robust opportunity pipeline in Denmark and selected Nordic markets, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
- Target and Grow Key Accounts
- Identify high-potential partners in Denmark and across the Nordics.
- Lead consultative sales approaches that solve real-world receivables and credit risk challenges, including portfolio deals and tailored recovery solutions.
- Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and continuously expand existing accounts.
- Be a Thought Leader
- Represent the company at industry events, roundtables, and client forums in Denmark and the Nordics.
- Provide market insights on regulatory developments, customer behaviour and industry trends, and help shape go-to-market strategies together with product and marketing teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with other crossfunctional divisions, such as marketing, key account management, legal, risk and operations to design tailored debt acquisition and recovery solutions for our target industries.
- Ensure that proposed solutions are both commercially attractive and compliant with Danish regulatory frameworks.
- Drive Innovation
- Influence product development by sharing client feedback and identifying emerging trends in financial recovery and debt management.
- Contribute ideas on how to further digitalise and optimise our offerings for Telco, Banking/Finance, Mobility, Insurance, Media and Security sectors.
Qualifications
Your Skills
- Proven Expertise
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in fintech, debt purchase, collections, receivables management or related financial services.
- Experience working with clients in at least one of our focus sectors (Telco, Banking/Finance, Mobility, Insurance, Media, Security) is a strong advantage.
- Industry Knowledge
- Solid understanding of the Danish and Nordic debt collection regulatory landscape, credit risk management and/or NPL portfolio sales.
- Ability to translate regulatory and market developments into commercial opportunities.
- Senior Stakeholder Confidence
- Demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives and complex decision-making units.
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Strategic Mindset
- Experience with solution selling, challenger sales or consultative selling methods in complex, high-value transactions.
- Ability to think strategically about client portfolios and design structured, value-adding solutions.
- Tech-Savvy & Data-Driven
- Familiarity with financial technology platforms, CRM systems and data-centric sales approaches.
- Comfortable working with KPIs and analytics to steer sales activities and demonstrate value to clients.
- Language Skills
- Full professional proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
- Additional Nordic language skills are a plus.
