The VP, Product Management provides product leadership working with customers, users, stakeholders, and the engineering team. This role provides broad, hands-on leadership with the strategy, design, development, and rollout of Relias’ recruitment product.



  • Leading product management efforts for our recruitment product, including: 
  • Driving overall product strategy, product roadmap and execution for a new Relias recruitment product.
  • Ongoing research of the healthcare recruitment market, emerging trends, competitor movement and adjacent industry influences to identify opportunities for the Relias recruitment product
  • Prioritizing opportunities based on market driven problems and maintaining a strategic narrative to keep executives and key stakeholders informed
  • Serving as the product SME and partnering with key stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Client Care to ensure the product/feature value proposition is on point for both existing and new customers.
  • Leading on- and offshore development teams to build cutting edge software products powered by Artificial Intelligence.
  • Increasing the reach to attract and maintain suitable prospective candidates to be recruited by Relias’ customers
  • Creating communities and marketplaces for candidate pools
  • Using data from internal and external sources to assess the market viability of new product offerings and features.
  • Owning the product backlog and maintain processes for prioritizing features, assembling product OKRs, and partnering with Engineering to execute on software  development milestones and overall execution.
  • Being the customer advocate within the team; understanding deeply how customers get value from their products through instrumentation and direct feedback. Working closely with stakeholders and customers to prioritize new product development and resolve issues.
  • Managing pilot deployments and work closely with customers and stakeholders to get early feedback and input.
  • Support M&A processes for potential tuck-in acquisitions, as well as the operational day to day of the new entities and business segments acquired. 
  • Overseeing product financial performance
  • Partnering with the Client Success organization and Marketing team to understand adoption and product success via KPIs, ensuring the customer viewpoint is understood. 
  • Working with stakeholders to articulate the value proposition and differentiators in the offering.  Supporting go-to-market (GTM) strategies led by Marketing and tied to product development. Collaborating with executive leadership, Marketing, Sales, Support, Client Care, and other teams to ensure all priorities are incorporated.
  • Coaching and providing constructive feedback via Relias performance management processes (i.e., 1:1s, quarterly reviews) to PM team members to enable them to professionally grow, do their best work, be held accountable to goals and deadlines, and proactively communicate well with the rest of the PM and broader Relias team
  • Looking for opportunities to professionally develop the PM team members internally as well as externally. 
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • 10+ years of proven experience rapidly building and scaling teams that delivered customer facing web properties or equivalent work experience in the recruitment space.
  • 8+ years in a leadership position
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, big data, artificial intelligence, and large user-based marketplace/communities.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, especially with marketing disciplines and sales initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree, or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED and 10 years of professional work experience in the product marketing field. 
  • Demonstrated record of successfully strategizing, leading, and executing product launches for online recruitment products.
  • Expert experience with agile software development processes and customer discovery
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to apply a strategic, KPI/metrics-driven mindset.
  • Flexible, cross-functional team player, especially with marketing and sales disciplines, comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous, continually evolving environment.
  • Strong executive presence and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to positively influence others at all of levels in the organization, including cross-functional leaders and the executive suite.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to educate and inspire small groups as well as large conference and online audiences.
  • Excellent organization and people skills, with the ability to set priorities, get buy-in, problem-solve, multi-task, and work well independently.
  • Exceptional communication, prioritization, collaboration and time management skills.



  • Master’s degree, especially MBA, preferred, but not required.
  • Healthcare experience.
