The Strategic Project Manager is responsible for driving implementation of strategic initiatives across Relias. The focus is on managing change processes and adoption related to Relias’ strategy implementation and a company-wide program to upgrade internal business systems and processes including, Marketo, and data governance.



  • Working on a variety of key projects in the company, leading cross-functional teams and coordinating departments across the company
  • Identifying communications, training, and other organizational needs across the business to ensure adoption of strategic programs, including, but not limited to, new roles, processes and technologies
  • Defining and establishing tools and project management practices to ensure on-time, on-budget and in scope delivery of multiple interlinked projects
  • Administering roll-out plan for strategic programs and releases of process and business systems changes
  • Monitoring adoption metrics of programs including the administration of surveys and system usage metrics, and determining action plans based on the metrics and survey results
  • Leveraging appropriate and dynamic communication strategies and channels when developing communications
  • Drafting communications and facilitating the review and approval process
  • Coordinating with the appropriate internal communications departments (People and IT) to ensure communications and engagement plans are consistent with internal communications standards
  • Coordinating across business units to understand and manage competing programs/projects
  • Partnering with Learning & Development and business area trainers to create actionable training plans



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years involved in communications for large projects
  • Deep knowledge in change management as well as good working level knowledge of change concepts, methods and application.
  • Strong communications planning and execution including verbal, and written communications skills
  • Understands fundamental change roles and how to mobilize a change network in the business
  • Takes initiative and ownership of deliverables
  • High emotional intelligence, strong relationship building skills, excellent people skills
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, simple messaging
  • Capable of detecting, investigating, and escalating change management issues and risks for resolution
  • Ability to manage multiple, separate workstreams while ensuring overall tracking to project goals
  • Able to demonstrate meeting and classroom facilitation skills



  • 4+ years professional experience
  • Masters’ Business Administration
  • Certification in Change Management
  • Basic implementation and configuration of enterprise systems, such as CRM or ERP
  • Experience with enterprise-wide, technology transformation projects
  • Consulting work experience
  • PMP Certification
