The SVP of Technology for Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Computing, and Data Services will be responsible for leading and managing multiple teams within the technology department, including enterprise application architects, a cloud computing infrastructure team, and a data services platform team comprised of data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts. This leader will also work closely with the information security team, as well as the education technology and content operations and accreditations teams.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Developing and implementing a technology strategy that supports the organization's overall business goals and objectives.
- Leading and managing the enterprise application architects, cloud computing infrastructure team, and data services platform team to ensure they are meeting performance and productivity targets.
- Working closely with the information security team to ensure that all technology systems and platforms are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborating with the education technology and content operations and accreditations team to develop and implement technology solutions that support the organization's educational initiatives.
- Ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and efficient, and that it is able to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Developing and managing technology budgets, and ensuring that technology spending is aligned with the organization's strategic priorities.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with technology vendors and service providers, and ensuring that the organization is getting the best possible value for its technology investments.
- Monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies, and identifying opportunities for the organization to leverage new technologies to gain a competitive advantage.
YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing large, complex technology teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, data services, and enterprise application architecture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technology strategies with the organization's overall business goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage technology budgets, and to make strategic technology investment decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technology challenges.
