The Regulatory Analyst will research, analyze, and interpret federal and state regulations to provide organizational guidance. The Analyst is also responsible for collating research, inputting it into the database, and maintaining the database in alignment with current regulations. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Researching and interpreting regulatory landscape of healthcare organizations
  • Researching and interpreting service and discipline specific licensure regulations
  • Creating client-facing regulatory alerts, updates, and guidance
  • Developing relationships with internal departments
  • Interfacing with regulatory bodies in both oral and written forms
  • Communicating effectively with the external accrediting/regulatory agencies
  • Identifying appropriate target audience for content
  • Aligning content with federal, national, and state regulations
  • Serving as the interdepartmental liaison and client escalation contact for regulatory matters
  • Identifying and recommending process improvements 
  • Identifying content gaps and collaborating with Curriculum Designers and Product Management to formulate an action plan
  • Tagging updated regulations to policies and procedures 
  • Maintaining accurate data 

 

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

  • 3+ years of experience and knowledge related to state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • 3+ years performing regulatory research 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher at the collegiate level 
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) 
  • Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to collaborate with Content team, Product team and SMEs
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to take constructive criticism and apply it towards professional development
  • Ability to remain calm and diplomatic 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience and knowledge related to state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • 3+ years performing regulatory research 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher at the collegiate level 
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) 

 

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Master’s Degree or higher 
  • 1+ years of experience in creating and/or updating organizational policies and procedures 
  • 1+ years of compliance program experience
