The Motion Graphics Artist provides animated instructional text, diagrams, and imagery to support eLearning course development. Working with a variety of product teams, they transform written content into a seamless and instructionally sound learning experience for video delivery. 



  • Working with internal writing team to storyboard instructional motion graphics and animations
  • Soliciting feedback from internal stakeholders on look and feel and adapting designs accordingly
  • Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and stock libraries, designing and building reusable learning assets including lower thirds, graphic overlays, instructional diagrams, and other motion graphics for inclusion in eLearning course content
  • Creating 2-D animated course content
  • Managing internal queue of graphics requests and prioritizing appropriately with Product team input
  • Producing graphics to spec, on time, and at or below a pre-determined time budget
  • Overseeing cataloging and maintenance of library of pre-built or internally built motion graphics assets  
  • Working with team of video editors and course designers to establish look and feel for product and maintain brand consistency
  • Serving as post-production subject matter expert
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Skilled in animation and motion graphics design with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Professional experience building motion graphics to spec including adhering to brand and style guides
  • Ability to take feedback on designs and properly apply to improve overall product 
  • Ability to storyboard and provide vision to key stakeholders on what is possible for an optimal learning experience 
  • Able to work independently and take full ownership of motion graphics queue
  • Able to work well with other designers on team as well as Content collaborators in writing, quality assurance, and curriculum design 
  • 1+ years professional experience in motion graphics design 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Design, Communication Media, or related field OR equivalent work experience (5+ years) 



  • Master’s degree in Animation, Design, Communication Media, or related field, and 5-10 years professional experience 
  • Experience designing motion graphics for healthcare training 
  • Experience creating 2-D and 3-D animation using Cinema4D, After Effects, and Premier Pro
  • Ability to create custom graphics and line art to use for animations
