The Events Associate helps the events team execute our corporate event strategy. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starter with a passion for sales and customer service. The associate will work on simultaneous events while working to increase goals and drive results. From large conferences to small client events to tradeshows, this role also will assist with virtual, onsite, and hybrid events.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

  • Executing corporate event tasks and assisting with annual corporate conferences in virtual, on-site and hybrid formats 
  • Contributing to the execution of smaller client events, such as workshops, and trade shows 
  • Assisting with coordination of pre-event communication and post-event follow-up with all internal and external stakeholders and event attendees 
  • Building and maintaining relationships with event organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders 
  • Tracking and analyzing metrics from events to demonstrate ROI 

 

YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE: 

  • Ability to talk to potential and existing customers and attendees while boosting engagement and brand awareness
  • Ability to coordinate show details, deliverables, and marketing initiatives while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to plan and execute successful, innovative events
  • Ability to work and collaborate as part of a fast-paced team
  • Demonstrated professional, clear verbal and written communication skills, including experience writing and distributing event communication
  • Ability to collaborate with agencies, vendors, executive and leadership teams, and across departments
  • Organizing event logistics, such as agendas, speakers, invoices, event location, food, and beverage, etc. 
  • 6 months’ events experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or another related field

 

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience working in software, healthcare, education, or technolog
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Bizzabo, or Smartsheets.
  • Experience managing an events budget
