The Enterprise Client Executive role is an individual contributor, B2B outside sales position that proactively manages a multi-state geographic sales territory calling on Acute Health Systems, Hospitals and IDNs --senior level decision makers, typically Chief Clinical or Medical Officer, Quality Director, VP of Risk, CPO, CIO, CEO. The Client Executive must establish and cultivate relationships with new potential clients and current clients in the region through active lead generation activities including account-based marketing approaches, event attendance, phone call and email outreach and local “on the ground” relationship building. This position will manage multi-state territory across the country and sell any of Relias’ product offerings into their territory.  


  • Engaging with customers and new business accounts to secure bookings
  • Engaging with customers to secure renewals
  • Prospecting and new relationship development
  • Maintaining accuracy of account and opportunity details in Salesforce
  • Developing and maintaining adequate funnel volume of 4x remaining funnel
  • Maintaining accurate forecast of opportunity closings
  • Traveling up to 40%.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related field 
  • 4 -6 years of sales experience in a B2B consultative sales role, selling into senior leadership in healthcare markets  
  • A proven record of exceeding sales quotas over an extended period in SaaS, consultative sales within the last 3 years. 
  • Proven experience calling on top-level executives in a healthcare setting (CMO, CIO, Clinical Director, QI Director, Provider Manager, CEO) 
  • Understanding of Acute Health Systems, hospitals and IDNs and how to navigate them  
  • Strong knowledge of hosted software applications (SaaS model) and how business systems integrate.  Must have advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to conduct independent market research on the internet.   
  • Constant thirst for learning and ability to figure out new approaches and learn all potential use cases for our different product offerings for the different segments of the market
  • Expertise with technology (Salesforce.com, Power Point, Excel forms and formulas, WebEx, web-based software applications, etc.) 
  • Develop and execute a written territory plan designed to achieve bookings and renewal targets.
  • Strong writing skills—ability to customize sales kit/tools as needed on the desk top.  
  • High level of organization, time management, self-initiative and experience managing a multi-state sales territory from a home office 
  • Highly developed presentation and stand-up facilitation skills 
  • Solid knowledge of healthcare, preferably experience working with enterprise sized prospects and clients
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
