Relias is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to join our marketing team and lead the PMM organization. This role will report directly to the head of the Marketing organization (VP, Marketing) and will lead a team of at least three Product Marketing Managers, responsible for all messaging, positioning, and market/industry intelligence across all three of Relias’ primary verticals—Acute Care, Post-Acute Care, and Behavioral Health.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Managing product marketing personnel as well as creating product marketing assets
  • Leveraging a strong understanding of the B2B SaaS technology landscape and B2B SaaS technology marketing to deliver impactful assets, value props, storytelling, and positioning
  • Partnering with key stakeholders in Product Management, Sales, Content, and Marketing to properly position and message the company's overall value proposition and product/feature value proposition, both existing and new
  • Collaborating with company executive leadership, Product Management, Sales, Support, Client Care, Content, and Marketing teams on GTM priorities, strategy, and execution, and will be the primary point of contact for all GTM activities
  • Partnering with the Client Success team to drive adoption and success creating supporting materials and campaigns, both as part of GTM and customer marketing
  • Using data from internal and external sources to assess the market viability of new product offerings and features
  • Providing people management and development to the Product Marketing team to enable them to professionally grow, do their best work, be held accountable to goals and deadlines, and provide messaging guidance to the rest of the Marketing team
  • Providing feedback and coaching to the Product Marketing team members regularly through 1:1s, on-the-spot feedback, and through the performance review process
  • Developing the team through trainings and learning and development opportunities

 

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

  • 5+ years of proven experience developing high-quality product- and solution-level content in a product marketing capacity for B2B audiences or equivalent work experience in the SaaS space
  • College degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong executive presence and customer-facing skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally, especially with marketing disciplines and sales initiatives
  • Demonstrated record of successfully packaging and shipping the results of high-quality projects with independence and confidence
  • Demonstrated record of successfully strategizing, leading, and executing go-to-market initiatives for SaaS products
  • Track record of positively influencing behavior at all of levels in the organization, including cross-functional leaders and the executive suite
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Exceptional communication, prioritization, collaboration and time management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, especially with marketing disciplines and sales initiatives
  • Ability to apply a strategic, KPI/metrics-driven mindset and a passion for the combined art and science of product marketing
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to educate and inspire small groups as well as large conference and online audiences
  • Excellent organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, get buy-in, problem-solve, multi-task, and work well independently
  • Flexible, cross-functional team player comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous, continually evolving environment
  • Ability to behavior at a variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional leaders
