Delivery Managers work to ensure the team’s success in delivery, primarily by helping to identify and remove impediments that impact the team’s ability to deliver and perform at a high level. Delivery managers are responsible for managing stakeholder engagement and cross-functional communications across the organization, communicating between the technical and non-technical.


•    Proactively looking to identify impediments and opportunities for improvements in the delivery process
•    Developing and executing plans to ensure performance gaps are addressed and monitored; escalating as needed
•    Managing and tracking of inter & intra team dependencies
•    Managing, tracking, and reporting Team targets, commitments, and delivery metrics
•    Actively managing stakeholder needs and expectations
•    Encouraging a culture of team-driven decision making and commitment
•    Guiding teams to focus on the output rather than the process; helping teams to find and establish a process that works for them
•    Aware of and can lead on a range of Agile and Lean tools and techniques (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, standups, retrospectives, etc.)


•    At least 2 years of experience working in the engineering organization of a product company using common Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP)
•    Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
•    A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
•    Experience with Agile practices - Able to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use. Can adapt and reflect, is resilient and can see outside of the process. Able to use a blended approach depending on the context. Able to measure and evaluate outcomes. Able to help teams to manage and visualize outcomes.
•    Effective communication between the technical and non-technical - Able to listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders and interpret them. Able to manage stakeholders’ expectations and be flexible, is capable of proactive and reactive communication. Facilitates difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders.
•    Ability to maintain delivery momentum -Able to facilitate the delivery flow of a team, managing the pace and tempo. Able to actively address internal and external risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the team.
•    Effective Planning -Understands the environment and prioritizes the most important or highest value tasks. Able to use data to inform planning. Able to manage complex internal and external dependencies. Able to provide delivery confidence. Able to remove blockers or impediments that affect the plan and can develop a plan for difficult situations. Ensures teams plan appropriately for their own capacity.
•    Team dynamics and collaboration -Able to bring people together to form a motivated team. Able to empower delivery teams. Able to help create the right environment for a team to work in. Recognizes and deals with issues. Able to facilitate the best team makeup depending on the situation.
•    Good general understanding of how large-scale software systems are designed, built, tested, and deployed into the hands of customers.
•    Strong understanding of delivery and go-to-market methods and metrics.
•    Good general understanding of the role of product managers, product designers, engineers, quality assurance, devops and product marketers.


•    Working knowledge and understanding of DevOps processes and culture
•    MBA
