Summary

The Business Systems Trainer is responsible for leading the change management efforts to drive adoption of all internal systems changes to systems and processes, including Salesforce, Intacct, Quickbase, etc.  This includes developing the overall change approach by process and creating and maintaining all functionally-oriented communications and learning and development programs to drive the adoption.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop the change approach to ensure all changes to business systems and processes are adopted by business users.  This includes communications, training, surveys, playbooks, tip sheets, quick reference guides, and other organizational needs to drive adoption of the new or revised business processes, improvements, and technologies.
  • Work with the IT Change Coordinator to determine change impact of revised IT/Business Systems processes, improvements, and technologies to develop the appropriate change approach/format by business user/stakeholder.
  • Draft change materials, including communications, change materials, and training documentation, and facilitate the review and approval process.
  • Deliver communications and training to cross-functional teams on Business Systems changes.
  • Coordinate with department contacts to manage training schedule for end users.
  • Track and report on attendance and completions for relevant training utilizing the Relias Platform.
  • Review feedback and program adoption metrics with IT Change Coordinator on a regular basis, including survey data and system usage metrics, to determine follow up adoption activities
  • Develop and refine scalable model and content for ongoing systems training, reinforcement, or remediation needs.
  • Coordinate with PMO on change management approaches in the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to proactively assess internal client needs and develop actions plans accordingly
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, simple messaging
  • Strong communications planning and execution including verbal, and written communications skills
  • Ability to deliver effective training content via various modalities (e.g., formal classroom, WebEx, and e-learning, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple team members across various levels to complete a task or activity
  • Deep knowledge in change management as well as good working level knowledge of change concepts, methods and application, including leveraging change agents.
  • Capable of detecting, investigating, and escalating change management issues and risks for resolution
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Takes initiative and ownership of deliverables
  • High emotional intelligence, strong relationship building skills, excellent people skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, separate workstreams while ensuring overall tracking to project goals
  • Ability to constructively provide feedback to staff

 

Experience Required (Minimum required)

  • 5 years+ professional experience
  • 2+ years developing and delivering software training
  • 2+ years leading change initiatives

 

Education Required (Minimum required)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Administrator Certification for Salesforce.com a plus
