Overall social expectations

  • Serve as social face of the company, interacting across various teams to fulfill requests
  • Development of brand awareness on social channels through organic and paid social promotion
  • Work very closely with PR, Product Marketing, and Digital Marketing to support marketing campaigns, events, tradeshows, product launches, industry news, etc.
  • Able to work in platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, Marketo, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Canva, and Hootsuite
  • Plan and coordinate weekly/monthly social promotions to increase followers on all social channels
  • Use social channels to generate new leads and demo requests across various products and verticals
  • Use social analytics to optimize social posts, campaigns, and overall engagement
  • Manage social media workflow and content calendar and keep team informed on upcoming campaigns
  • Create process and guidelines for standardizing social posts regarding messaging, images, tone, etc.
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media as it relates to driving new leads, followers, and user engagement

Day to day

  • Responsible for daily posts to all applicable social media outlets
  • Coordinating the marketing calendar with online activities
  • Facilitate timelines and day-to-day operational aspects of all social media campaigns
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and demos
  • Responsible for social responses during and outside of business hours within a 24-hour period
  • Manage and maintain social dashboard for reporting to the team and communicate metrics to drive optimization and higher conversions
  • Create and/or coordinate engaging text, image, and video content
  • Manage social aspects of the Relias Connect community including events calendar, webinar promotions, and client engagement in discussion threads
  • Report on and share notable changes in activity



  • Minimum of 2 years marketing and/or related experience in corporate environment required
  • A passion for social media and engagement with current and future customers and prospects
  • Superior writing and proofreading skills as well as an excellent command of grammar, punctuation, proper English usage and AP style
  • Fluency in email, social platforms, Google Analytics, and Marketo (experience working with PPC agencies and PPC ads a plus)
  • Strong data and analytical skills with ability to transform data into actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills to include: written, presentation, and oral communication
  • Deep understanding of how content resonates on different types of social and digital platforms
  • Strong leadership, initiative and work ethic
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically while multi-tasking in a fast paced, changing environment
  • A team player who is open to feedback and new ideas
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
