Primary responsibility of this role is to manage the following for the Home Health and Palliative Care Markets:

  • Consistently ships minimum viable products for vertical(s) and multiple sub-verticals
  • Works on complex tasks and broad programs that are large and diverse in scope and/or critical in nature
  • Leads all aspects of requirements planning and commercialization
  • Determines investment plan and contributes to technical approach
  •  Leads teams and networks with senior internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Uses data to drive goals and iterative improvement
  • Takes risks and pushes innovation to learn from failures and successes
  • Serves as the market expert and informs the overall strategic direction for assigned vertical/sub-verticals, including decisions to buy, partner, or build
  • Develops Content Roadmap with supporting business documentation for responsible vertical/sub-verticals
  • Serves as market expert and liaison for analytics and assessments PMs
  • PM lead for content planning and roadmap execution throughout the year
  • SME for all product libraries for assigned vertical/sub-verticals
  • Ensures that required data is maintained to inform investment strategies as well as product changes needed to drive overall business goals for the company
  • Works well with other team members as both a team or project leader AND as a team member. Developing coaching and mentoring skills with the APMs.


Key activities include:

  • Creating and Maintaining an internal (18 month) and public facing (6 months) Post-Acute Product Roadmap
  • Leading the development team to create new products for Home Health and Palliative Care
  • Commercializing and launching new products by partnering with Marketing, Support and Sales
  • Creating Detailed Course Requirements and Planning Forms to inform content development
  • Conducting ongoing competitive and market research:  W/L Calls, Surveys, Discovery Calls and Visits and Cancellation/renewal Calls
  • Identifying Content Gaps and determining how to build, buy or partner to fill that gap
  • Managing the content partner relationship and offering strategy for Post-Acute Products


In addition this product management leader:

  • Continuously monitors where products are in their lifecycle and work holistically across the business to manage lifecycle events (end of life, new product launch, etc.)
  • Maintains the content quality of the work being delivered by setting and evaluating expectations and acceptance criteria
  • Leads a team of other product managers and/or product owners to support a product line



  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience and expertise with either similar products or the designated target market
  • Experience with Pragmatic Marketing preferred
  • Degree in management, finance or a related healthcare discipline preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary technologies and their applicability to solve healthcare business problems
  • Can-do attitude with a demonstrated ability to get things done under minimal supervision and drive results across cross functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, and proven ability to run effective meetings; comfortable interacting at all levels of an organization
  • Not afraid of the details – need to be highly focused mitigating product development risk by ensuring that no rocks go unturned
  • Very strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence.
  • Solid understanding and proven experience working in a dynamic development environment.
