International Sales Director

For 23 years, RTL AdConnect drives new advertising revenues to the RTL channels throughout Europe with each sales office working across borders. Our portfolio includes 50 TV channels, 27 radio stations, and 100 internet platforms offerings in 12 European countries. We also commercialize a unique brand safe and premium inventory in the US across our digital solutions.

RTL AdConnect has offices in the USA and across Europe in Luxembourg, France, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Austria.


For our sales office in the USA (preferably NY or LA), we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic International Sales Director. The International Sales Director will be highly motivated in selling our portfolio (TV, digital and radio) to international media agencies and advertisers in a defined sales territory. Under the leadership of the Director of the US Office, you will work closely with the international sales and marketing team.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Selling the total European video portfolio of RTL AdConnect to clients & agencies as akey and primary priority
  • Selling the digital video inventory portfolio of RTL AdConnect to clients & agencies as a secondary priority (when your existing contacts in the industry or leads are not interested in the European offer)
  • Developing a portfolio of Advertisers to grow revenues for both TV and Digital media
  • Sourcing and converting new advertisers to become key new repeat clients
  • Presenting our digital and TV portfolio to clients and agencies
  • Responsible for cross media-sales
  • Analysis of clients’ media and communication strategies, consultancy
  • Evangelize our digital knowledge and position externally on the market and internally (classical TV sales team)
  • Preparing presentation alongside the Marketing team
  • Preparing quotes, reporting and control of orders
  • Interact with our local TV and digital partners
  • Generating new creative sales ideas for our solutions Team
  • Attend key industry events to represent RTL AdConnect and develop knowledge
  • Be able to travel based upon CDC Guidelines


Qualifiactions and Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of Media experience
  • College or university degree
  • 1st experience preferably in a media agency or broadcast media dealing with international campaigns
  • Broadcast and digital media knowledge
  • An existing network of contacts in theinternational advertising community
  • Proven new business track record
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with clients

Analytical thinking, good presentation skills, well-structured and

  • team-based work
  • Enthusiasm for the international TV and radio markets, online affinity
  • Fluent in English, other languages desirable
  • Enthusiastic positive outlook
