Job overview:
The (Senior) Manager Media Partnerships will report to Head of Partnership Management.
One of the core ingredients for the success of RTL AdAlliance is the integrated full service management of our core partners, which are represented by RTL AdAlliance for monetization, for tech or for both purposes. They are managed by the central publisher management department. The media partners of all media types, that are not using the technical platform of smartclip are mostly handled and assessed by the Media Partnerships Management teams within the Partnership Management organization. Regular jour fixes and business reviews are conducted as well as monitoring of the monetization with the publishers. New products, solutions, technical requirements need to be brought to the publishers’ attention.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and optimize existing partnerships across print, TV, and digital platforms.
- Identify upselling opportunities within the partnerships and collaborate with the Partnership Development team to execute upsell strategies.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with media partners and key stakeholders.
- Monitor partnership performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and upselling.
- Take care of the technical capabilities of the digital portfolio, ensuring measurability, targetability, and the implementation of the latest technical standards on websites and apps.
- Collaborate with the Head of Media Partnerships and the Partnership Development team to develop and execute upsell strategies aligned with business objectives.
Your profile :
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing media partnerships, focusing on upselling within existing partnerships.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor performance metrics and drive upsell opportunities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of the media industry, including print, TV, and digital platforms.
- Familiarity with technical aspects of digital advertising, including measurability, targetability, and implementation of technical standards.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English
