Purchasing Coordinator

The Purchasing Department is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join the Logistics Team. 

Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


  Job Description:


  • Review and process incoming requisitions/requests
  • Selecting appropriate vendors based on price/availability to meet requestors’ needs
  • Generating purchase orders in SAP
  • Research products and companies as needed to fulfill requests
  • Assist with new vendor set ups
  • Maintain accurate records of items purchased including costs and deliveries
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, copying, scanning information as required to follow up/complete purchase orders.
  • Communicate effectively on a high professional level, establish, and maintain good working relationships with customers, co-workers and stakeholders




  • Ability to efficiently multi-task
  • Ability to work accurately and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new methods & systems required to adapt to changes in the work environment
  • PC Proficiency to include Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Purchasing Experience is a plus
