Penguin Random House is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Customer Support and Analytics Analyst to join our team in Westminster Maryland. 

 

The regular working hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

 

This specific position involves complex business analyses as well as supporting a variety of order processing projects that involve all areas of the business including IT, Sales, Warehouse, Operations, Credit, and Finance. The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Previous experience defining and extracting large data sets, then analyzing and summarizing the data to present the key finding in a clear and concise manner is a must.  Investigating issues, inquiries, and questions for the user community, recommending controls by identifying problems and resolutions, and ability to facilitate meetings.

 

In addition, the ability to work in a dynamic fast paced and results driven environment – while embracing our high standard of professional ethics is required. Strong listening skills and technical skills to include advanced EXCEL proficiency is essential.

Skills assessment will be part of the consideration process.

 

 We are seeking Candidates with:

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred but not required
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel 
  • Previous SAP experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioririze and multi-task
  • Ability to lead various size cross functional projects
  • Ability to train others
  • Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience with Power BI is a Plus!
