Our Finance Group is seeking a skilled Credit and Collection Correspondent to join their team.


In this unique role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relations with our clients and sales teams while monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts: establish appropriate credit limits, determine credit extension and credit holds, research and resolve discrepancies and short payments and successfully perform account reconciliations with a focus on maintaining open item accounts on a current basis. Effective analytical skills to research and resolve customer claims is a plus. Fluent bilingual skills is helpful; English/Spanish or English/French


Candidates must be dependable, committed to excellent customer service and computer literate to include Word and Excel proficiency. Prior work experience in a financial capacity, strong math and solid analytical skills are essential. Knowledge of and prior experience with billing and collection procedures is desired. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced, goal oriented collections department.  Candidates meeting our specific qualifications will be required to take an Excel skill assessment in consideration of an interview.


Candidates must also possess:

• A High School diploma or equivalent. College degree in a business related field preferred

•Proficiency in PC operations including Microsoft Office products; SAP experience a 


•Strong written & oral communication skills

•Effective negotiation skills

•Strong organizational and prioritization skills

•Ability to multi-task, work independently and be a self starter

•Prepare and maintain account statistics, update and provide reports relating to account status and progress of collection efforts

•Ability to exercise judgment and make appropriate decisions while meeting collection targets is essential



The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
