Penguin Random House is seeking a skilled A/P Processor to join our growing Finance Team.

 

You would be responsible for responding to internal and external inquiries and processing vendor invoices, check/wire requests and travel and expense reports.  This position would also require you to reconcile vendor and employee payment accounts.  In addition, you would be entering data relating to invoices, check requests and other miscellaneous payment requests into SAP.  Additional responsibilities include resolving invoice problems and monitoring invoice postings via Electronic Data Interchange.

 

The ability to produce quality work under pressure, establish priorities and meet deadlines is essential.
Candidates must be able to work accurately and independently with accountability and in a fast paced
environment with a heavy workload. Candidates must possess and exhibit the ability the think logically,
analyze and solve problems.


Candidates must be proficient with Word and Excel at an intermediate level or higher, exhibit exceptional
data entry skills and possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Prior accounting
experience is preferred.  Working knowledge of SAP a plus.


Candidates meeting our specific qualifications will be required to take Data Entry, Word and Excel 2016
skills assessments as part of the interview process.


The normal working hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
