SAP Transformation Manager, IT, Penguin Random House (Open to Remote)

Penguin Random House’s IT Department seeks an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transformation professional to lead and support end-to-end transformation initiatives from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. The role involves business process redesign, system implementation, data migration, and stakeholder engagement to ensure a successful digital transformation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational background in business engagement and a strong understanding ECC to S/4 challenges supporting ongoing efforts towards cloud migration, automation, and AI adoption. Must be a motivated, team-player with the ability to work cross functionally with a positive attitude, a self-starter with proactive thinking of solutions. 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead or support SAP S/4HANA transformation programs (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid)
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define future-state processes aligned with S/4HANA
  • Drive system design, configuration, and integration across SAP modules
  • Manage and execute data migration activities using SAP tools
  • Support testing phases and ensure defect resolution
  • Coordinate with technical teams on custom developments and integrations
  • Ensure compliance with SAP best practices
  • Provide cutover planning and go-live support
  • Deliver user training and post-go-live support
  • Manage team of SAP S/4HANA functional analysts.

Please apply if you meet the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SAP experience with at least one S/4HANA implementation and should encompass:
    • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC vs S/4HANA differences
    • Expertise in SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, or PP
    • Fluency with data migration tools
    • Strong business process mapping and re-engineering skills
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with RISE with SAP or cloud deployments
  • Knowledge of SAP BTP
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

The salary range for this position is $130,000-$160,000 and will be based in vetted experience and fluency level. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
