Reprint Production Manager, PRHPS (Open to Remote)

Penguin Random House Publisher Services is seeking a Reprint Production Manager to join our team servicing a client, Kodansha Comics. Kodansha is home to bestseller and award-winning series including Attack on Titan, Akira, and Sailor Moon. This role manages approximately 300 reprints per year in a fast-paced environment. 

 
Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Request estimates, create purchase orders, and act as a liaison between printers and PRHPS. 
  • Work closely with Inventory to schedule and place reprints at domestic and overseas printers. 
  • Update digital tracking networks and ensure schedules are kept. 
  • Track reprint corrections and submit to vendors as needed. 
  • Route, review, and approve reprint files/proofs. 
  • Maintain and present reprint agenda for weekly Production meetings. 

  

Please apply if you meet the following qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in book production or similar role 
  • Strong organizational skills, detailed-oriented, and the ability to prioritize a high volume of work
  • Self-starter who can work independently and within a team in a remote environment 
  • An excellent communicator with a high degree of both written and verbal skills to match 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) required; knowledge of SAP and FileMaker a plus 

 

The salary for this position is $73,500.00. All positions are currently eligible for an annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.
