<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">If so, you might be a great fit for a new role within the Consumer Insights Team at Penguin Random House. The Consumer Insights Team is committed to building a reader-led culture (book-world speak for consumer-driven) within the organization. We do this by better understanding consumer and reader preferences, behaviors and attitudes and sharing those insights with our colleagues across the company. These insights inform decisions that are better for readers, and better for the business.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We’re seeking a business-minded consumer insights professional to support a variety of work streams in our “Marketplace” function. You’ll answer questions like: What trends are shaping readers’ lives? How do we segment readers to better serve their needs? How might we support sales teams and retailers to adapt to a changing landscape?

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">You will report to the Director, Marketplace & Consumer Insights, and collaborate with the larger Consumer Insights team to craft compelling and actionable findings from a variety of data sources. This role is also focused on translating insights to colleagues across the company – including maintaining an internal insights website, hosting presentations and workshops, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
