We are seeking a Sales Associate to serve as the main point of contact for selling Random House Children’s Books licensed titles to Amazon. The role will also present Listening Library audio titles to Audible and and will handle the reporting and promotions for all Young Adult and Children’s audio titles. Additionally, the Associate will provide sales and administrative support for the department, which includes coordinating sales materials and creating presentations for sales meetings.


Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Regularly preparing and distributing a variety of reports, including POS, weekly tracking, sales recaps, bestseller lists and preorders, to sales team members and to accounts.
  2. Pitching and positioning Listening Library audio titles to Audible and and RHCB licensed titles to Amazon for maximum sales growth.
  3. Maintaining monthly merchandising grids for all RHCB licensed titles with Amazon.
  4. Coordinating monthly mailings to Audible and Amazon.
  5. Distributing drop in and publicity update emails to Audible.
  6. Managing Amazon Author Central approvals.



  • Minimum of 2 years of prior office experience, prior publishing experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time
  • Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with employees across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
  • Comfortability working with numbers and financial information
  • Ability to travel up to 10% by car, train, or plane within the domestic U.S.
