Operations Assistant - Audio - Open to remote
Penguin Random House Audio, the premiere publisher in the audiobook industry, is seeking an Audio Operations Assistant to work within the audio production team, primarily supporting freelancer payments. This division publishes over 2,000 top-quality fiction and nonfiction audiobooks per year across multiple formats and genres. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about audio publishing and to work with a diverse range of genres.
Specifically, the Audio Operations Assistant:
- Works with the audio producer teams in NYC and LA locations to code and process all recording production invoices from freelancers and vendors.
- Coordinates with Accounts Payable, producers and freelancers to set up vendors in the accounts payable system.
- Processes check requests and wire transfers.
- Troubleshoots invoice and vendor problems, including investigation and follow-up on late invoice payments and invoices or vendor forms that require corrections.

- Proven ability to problem-solve and navigate issues diplomatically and professionally
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of SAP and/or FileMaker Pro a plus but not required
- Customer Service background a plus but not required
The salary for this position is $48,000.00. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.
