Join the innovative and data-driven team that is helping shape the book publishing business now and well into the future! The Online Sales team is seeking an insightful Assistant who can ask great questions, support the centralization of Retail Marketing Services, and provide administrative and analytical support for online retail campaigns. The successful candidate will have extreme attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice. 


Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Running daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting as defined by supervisor.
  2. Maintaining and tracking sales and performance data.
  3. Responding to inquiries from marketing teams across the company.
  4. Serving as a liaison between the marketing and sales teams and our external partners.
  5. Performing project management tasks as required.
  6. Assisting with the creation of presentations, meeting materials, and department correspondence.
  7. Assisting the Senior Vice President of Online and Digital Sales and providing general departmental administrative support as needed.

  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Interest in book publishing and/or performance marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
  • Superb analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Understanding of advertising metrics
  • Experience with MS Office suite, especially Excel (including pivot tables, formulas and V-lookups)
  • Experience analyzing data sets
