Director, Multicultural Marketing – Consumer Marketing


The Multicultural Marketing Director will strategize multicultural marketing plans with marketing teams across the business. This person is a leader who contributes to brand strategy, builds solid relationships with stakeholders across all levels and functions, can help educate business units about multicultural marketing, and is able to work hand-in-hand with colleagues on developing multicultural marketing campaigns.




  • Partner with various marketing teams to inspire innovative solutions, creativity, and maintain a proactive approach
  • Spark multicultural mindset and fluency by socializing best practices
  • Lead development of a Multicultural Marketing Playbook
  • Align with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Editorial on effective go-to market strategies
  • Deliver sound strategic plan recommendations based on a clear understanding of business goals
  • Research and identify new target groups within multicultural audiences
  • Stay abreast of platforms and ways to find readers
  • Liaise with multicultural marketing agency on specialty campaigns




  • Minimum of 6 years related multicultural experience 
  • Minimum of 6 years of media strategy, planning, buying, and management experience in progressive levels of responsibility
  • Strategic thinker, with ability to see the bigger picture, analyze everything and think critically when solving problems to come up with unconventional solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain great relationships 
  • Strong leadership presence and client management skills
  • Knowledge of Consumer Insights 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; solid presentation skills
  • History of negotiating to get the job done right and track record of success in media
