Digital Marketing Assistant - Berkley

The Berkley imprint at Penguin Random House is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to support digital marketing efforts and reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager. The Digital Marketing Assistant will provide administrative support and assist with the creation of marketing materials and advertising campaigns for a wide array of commercial fiction, including romance, women’s fiction, science fiction/fantasy, mysteries, thrillers and more. This is an ideal position for someone who is looking to begin a career in publishing!

Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Providing administrative support to the digital marketing manager, including maintaining paid & organic social media advertising grids; influencer outreach; mailings of books and other materials; creating tracked links
  2. Helping to create content for our social media channels, especially video
  3. Deploy and create newsletter campaigns for Berkley and Berkley Romance
  4. Manage Facebook groups with active posts and create content
  5. Help the digital marketing manager on partnership outreach and other digital marketing initiatives

 

Please apply if you meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Prior office or relevant experience
  • Passionate about fiction and pop culture
  • Exceptional writing, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle tasks, from multiple points of contact
  • Familiarity with office-based computer programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Knowledge and experience working in video creation a plus
  • Knowledge of Premiere and Photoshop a plus
