Associate National Account Manager/National Account Manager, PRHPS (Open to Remote)

Our account managers are much more than just sales reps – they are customer and category experts who help clients craft their publishing programs (with both an at-large and customer-specific approach).  They advise clients and customers alike on how to create and capitalize on marketplace trends, and share their knowledge and feedback throughout the entire publishing process, from the launch of titles to frontlist marketing to deep backlist opportunities.

At the National Account Manager level, you will represent our top graphic novel and manga clients including Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, Kodansha Comics, Square Enix, and Seven Seas Entertainment.  At the Associate National Account Manager level, you will work with some, but not all, of these clients.

Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Crafting monthly themed merchandising packages highlighting our clients’ titles
  2. Monitoring orders and sales and maximizing opportunities
  3. Communicating marketplace updates and opportunities to clients and sales managers
  4. Actively participating in all publisher meetings
  5. Engaging in regular sales analysis
  6. Presenting lead titles to the Amazon Books editorial team on a seasonal basis
  7. Troubleshooting issues that arise with Amazon product pages



  • Minimum of 2.5 years of sales experience, including experience directly interacting with accounts; Minimum of 4 years to be considered at the Manager level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • The ability to adapt and work well under pressure
  • Dynamic analytical skills with the ability to innovate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


The salary at the Associate Manager level is $60,000; the range at the Manager level is $67,000-$70,000.
