Summary

Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our US Hispanic team located in Miami, FL. Reporting to the President and providing additional support to the sales team, this role is ideal for someone who has solid organizational skills, is highly process-oriented, has exceptional communication skills and delivers in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Offers general administrative support for the department and the department head.
  • Provides customer service and partners with various internal and external departments to place and track sales orders.
  • Takes responsibility for basic office management tasks such as office supplies and maintaining common areas in order.
  • Creates seasonal presentations.
  • Manages domestic and international travel arrangements for the team.
  • Manages expense report coordination and submission.
  • Assist with book selling in person for local events.
  • Acts as liaison with building management and organizes repairs.
  • Handles courier packages both inbound and outbound.
  • Confident in handling ad hoc duties.  

 

Requirements

  • Fully bilingual (Spanish / English)
  • Highly organized with the ability to successfully work on multiple projects at a time and adapt to changing priorities
  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be comfortable working with numbers
  • Highly motivated with a drive to succeed
  • Strong team player
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
