Sales Manager - Southern Europe
Penguin Random House US International Sales is seeking a Spain-based Sales Manager to join the team! The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for specific title and budget goals within Southern Europe and Turkey and for the development, management, and improvement of business relationships with select key accounts. The Sales Manager will also work closely with the New York City office and with distribution clients to provide relevant sales and market information.
Other responsibilities include:
- Analyzing sales statistics to determine business growth potentials and strategies.
- Continually managing performance goals and monitoring key account and title performance.
- Seeking out and initiating plans to secure new customers and sales opportunities.
- Suggesting publication strategies including specialized formats and printings.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the book trade; international book trade experience a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills
• Awareness of and ability to professionally interact with other cultures
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the year, including international travel
• Knowledge of international publishing landscape is strongly preferred
• Fluency in English and in Spanish or any other Romance language is required
