Our Technology team here at Penguin Random House UK are looking for an experienced SAP SD Analyst to join them during an exciting period of change and growth. This opportunity is offered on an FTC basis until June 2020.

 

Reporting to the SAP Sales and Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for all activities from process mapping, designing, configuration and on-going maintenance and enhancements of the system. You will be a part of the SAP Implementation team and will work closely with the wider business on large and smaller sub projects, using a dynamic and results-focused approach whilst promoting and adhering to good practice such as the ITIL process.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Playing a key role in the full project lifecycle, from initial set up to the final delivery of results
  • Proposing and specifying both configuration and ABAP solutions
  • Assisting in mapping the requirements into SAP processes and design the solutions
  • Testing scripts, focusing on continuous improvement of processes and end user experience
  • Working with external and internal developers/suppliers to deliver SAP solutions and training
  • Contribute to the delivery of business and team KPIs

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of key sales and distribution processes and experience of ERP systems, specifically SAP SD including order management, pricing and rebates, billing and invoicing and reporting. 2 to 5 years of hands on working experience within a sales and distribution environment and an understanding of leading the design, development and maintenance of SAP FI/CO solutions will be essential.

 

You will have a methodical and analytical approach to problem solving, and will be able to work on your own initiative to complete set tasks within agreed timeframes. The ability to multi-task and work confidently alongside the wider team is highly desired.

 

This role will be based at either our Frating or London sites, however a willingness to travel between sites will be required.
