Analytics Implementation Engineer

As Analytics Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for advanced implementations of the Adobe Analytics, along with auditing and troubleshooting existing configurations. The role will also involve technical improvements to Penguin Random House tracking, analysis and personalisation processes, liaising with our internal data analysts, product owners & technical architects directly on Adobe Analytics projects and providing ongoing technical management of Adobe Analytics accounts.

 

Your role and responsibilities: -

  • Identifying objectives and mapping suitable analytics solutions, ensuring that all required performance data can be reliably tracked and reported.
  • Leading the technical aspects of analytics projects, ensuring an integrated approach with other service teams
  • Producing technical audit reports for corrective or advanced Adobe Analytics implementation work
  • Writing up code change files for implementation work
  • Providing technical assistance to data analysts to produce marketing dashboards
  • Performing ad-hoc analytics consultancies for clients and documenting the work
  • Working with technical teams for analytics implementation work
  • Spotting potential to implement innovative new methodologies and improve analytical processes
  • Using available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot tracking and measurement issues
  • Utilising and developing internal tools for debugging, data collection, reporting, etc.

 

You will also need: -

  • Excellent working knowledge of JavaScript, browser technology and cookie behaviour.
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of web analytics Experience of gathering and understanding technical requirements and designing suitable technical solutions
  • Experience of working with Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience of working with either Adobe DTM or Launch
