If so, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for a Senior Recruitment Partner to find, inspire and hire senior talent to Penguin Random House.


You don’t need to have stepped foot in a publisher’s before to work with us, we’re interested in bringing in new perspectives and challenging our thinking and ways of doing things. 


The role 


You’ll join a Recruitment team of nine, and will work closely with Talent Development, to form the Organisational Development and Talent team. You’ll also collaborate and work with the HR Generalist team.


One of our three core goals for our inclusion strategy is to achieve representation in all teams at all levels. Which means that who and how we hire is fundamental to our success and why we’ve created this new role, dedicated to the hiring and talent pipelining of senior talent that’s representative of society. 


You’ll be responsible for recruitment of roles that sit within our top 160 leaders across the business. You’ll also lead our senior talent acquisition strategy, working closely with our leaders and HR team to understand and identify our mid and long-term talent requirements which means we’re keen to learn from your successes and how you’ve built and sustained robust and representative talent pipelines. 


Success in the role will be dependent on your ability to think strategically and ambitiously, to build rapport and inspire trust in your expertise at the highest levels so that you connect and collaborate across the organisation. 


What you’ll bring: 


  • Extensive expertise and track record in recruiting senior talent and your proven knowledge and experience of reaching talent from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Diversity and inclusion will be deeply embedded in your approach, and you’ll be able to demonstrate your access to – and utilise - a wide network of senior talent.
  • Experience of successfully designing and leading sourcing strategies.

Salary £47,486 – £71,230 depending how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
